PASTOR PATRICIA WASHINGTON Obituary

The book of life opened on December 21, 1953 for Patricia Johnson. She was the daughter of Robert Johnson and Sallie Jane Manigualt, born in Martin County, FL. At the age of 68, she entered eternal rest at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, FL on Sunday afternoon, September 4, 2022.

She was educated in the Charleston County School System, and later continued her studies at Brevard Community College, now (Eastern Florida State College), and Keiser University in Melbourne, FL. She also trained for her airplane pilot’s license in Merritt Island, FL, and had the opportunity to make flights with her instructor.

She was employed for many years for NASA at Kennedy Space Center. She later changed her career to the medical field obtaining her Bachelor of Science Degree from Florida Metropolitan University. She cared for many patients in Brevard County as a Certified Home Health Caregiver.
On July 31, 2018, she became the wife and help-mate of Elder H. Washington.

In past years she traveled many places pastoring and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Some of those places included Country of Guyana, South America, and the Island of Jamaica, West Indies. She pastored in the city of Clermont, FL, Saved by Grace in Palm Bay, FL. and presently alongside her husband Elder H. Washington every Sunday at her home church Mt. Calvary Independent Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Antricia Jackson and a brother.

Her memory will be cherished by those she leaves behind: her loving and dedicated husband, Elder H. Washington of Palm Bay, FL; three daughters: Quina (Antonio) Nicholson of Colorado Springs, CO, LaRina Washington of Vero Beach, FL and Jacqueline Williams of Huntsville, AL; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren in Florida and Georgia; the mother of her heart: Mage Williams of Charleston, SC; three sisters: Oretha Johnson Manigault of CA, Casandra (Abe) Jenkins, Learo (Niki) Kevin Smith all of Charleston, SC and three brothers: John B. (Mary) Manigault of CA, Bishop Troy Williams, and Allen (Albertina) Williams also of Charleston, SC; sister-in-law, Evangelist Hester (David) McIntyre of Melbourne, FL; brothers-in-law: Shopper Lee Jones, Mack Washington, Jr. of Cocoa, FL and James Washington of Daytona Beach, FL; a host of other relatives and loving friends.
