Nyaja Payal Jamison, beloved daughter of Geri’ Smith and Jermaine Jamison, was born on February 06, 2001 in Tallahassee, Florida. The Lord called her home to rest on Thursday, January 25, 2024 in Melbourne, FL at Holmes Regional Hospital, after a fatal car accident.
Nyaja was educated in the Brevard County school system in Titusville and Melbourne, Florida. She graduated in 2020 from Palm Bay Magnet High School and matriculated to Bethune Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida, where she was currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in education.
Nyaja loved the Lord. She was a member of Truth Revealed International Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Merton Clark. She adored babies, and was always concerned about her brother and sister, which led her to assist Minister Barbette in the Children’s Ministry.
She was known to be a very strong-willed, outgoing, free spirit with a big loving and caring heart, and a beautiful smile. She was the type of person who lived life to the fullest. Her love for the art of make-up would often be displayed on family and friends. She was a social butterfly, who enjoyed being around her family and friends.
So weep not for her-just think of her life as a clear dawning -a cool morning-a warm noon day-and a Golden Sunset
Those left to cherish her precious memory: her mother, Geri’ Smith, her father, Jermaine Jamison; her sisters, Ashawnti Fuller, Shamia Jamison, Shamya Jamison; her brothers, Josiah Fuller, Arvontei Jamison; her grandmothers, Gwenevere Smith and Shelia Ingram and grandfather; Tony Jamison; her aunt, Ariel Smith;
