JAMES RENNINGER Obituary

In loving memory of my husband, my partner in life, the love of my live, my provider and protector.

John 16:22 Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.

Dennis was born In Baltimore Maryland on May 19,1958 and went to his eternal home on June 24, 2022.

Dennis is survived by his wife Melissa, son Dustin Renninger and his 2 beautiful granddaughters Hailie and Destinee Renninger; brother Donald Renninger Jr, and sisters Debbie Allen and Dee Dee Renninger.

He is preceded in death by his sister Diane Wise; his parents Donald L Renninger Sr and Ruth Renninger; and his mother in law Patricia Jungclaus.

Dennis was the love of Melissa's life for 35 years - he was her heart, her best friend, her rock, her source of strength, provider and protector. She is deeply grieved in the loss of her husband but has faith in their reunion one glorious day.

Dennis, known as “D” to many, was loved by friends and family alike.

He was known for and described as by those who knew him well as a wonderful, caring and loving guy.

He and Melissa invested time and love into their nephews lives, treating them as their own. Dennis loved an adventure whether it was taking the his son and the kids to the beach, go karting, drag races or an amusement park.

Dennis was always there to lend a helping hand to family and friends in need; often putting others needs above his own. When family threw a surprise birthday party for him on his 60th birthday he asked why did you do this for me. The response was because you are family and We love you!

He especially doted on his oldest granddaughter Hailie. He was her biggest supporter and always told her how much he believed in her and encouraged her to do the best she could. From the early years of watching Nemo repeatedly and winning goldfish at the fair, to making her American girl “baby doll” dreams come true to watching her blossom into a beautiful young lady. Hailie and youngest granddaughter Destinee filled his heart with immense joy.

His love extended to animals as well. Dennis and Melissa’s home includes 19 cats and their dog Lilly.

He Had such a deep love for them that he would carry a shovel in the back of his truck just so that he could stop and bury a kitty on the side of the road. Melissa was often called the crazy cat lady - many not knowing he was just as crazy. We can only imagine the happy reunion with all those fur babies he lost over the years -numerous cats and the ever so special Lucky Dog.

Dennis was also a car enthusiast since his teenage years. From riding dirt bikes to going to the Daytona 500 - to driving his wife crazy watching all the current car shows on TV. He Took pride in his vehicles and you would never see them dirty.

Let’s remember Dennis with joy and laughter, spirit, zest and his bullishness for life. He plowed through life with fierceness that could be abrupt but when u really knew him he loved life, his family and all of his pets so dearly.

If only we could see what his eyes are seeing right now.

Let our hearts prepare for the memorial video to play next with these words from Revelation 21:4
