Dr. Girardeau Lorenzo Henderson

Born in Perry, FL on December 11, 1948, and passed away on September 21, 2025.

Girardeau lived his passion for science and philosophy, earning his PhD from Kent State University in 1985. He proudly served as an officer in the United States Navy from 1971 to 1974 and later retired from the Coastal Systems Station, where he worked as a research physicist.

Throughout his life, Girardeau was a devoted son, husband, father, colleague, and friend. He will be deeply missed, and his memory will be cherished always.

A funeral service will be held at Lewis-Ray Mortuary, Inc. in Titusville, FL on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 12:00 p.m.
