Anthony Loutrail Driver

Anthony Loutrail Driver, affectionately known as “Tommy,” was born on September 27, 1956, to the late Minnie Mae Driver and Otis Driver. He departed this life at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida on February 6, 2026.

He leaves to cherish his memories. Four children: Taneisha Jones, Markei Jones, Ty'Sharra Hughes, and Jordan Driver of Elizabeth City, NC. He was a grandfather to five grandchildren: Jahsan Jones, Daquan Jones, Shamar Jones, Faith Hughes, and Arielle Davis.

He is also survived by his sisters: Maggie Driver Boone of Weldon, NC; Eutrilla Driver Hill of Greensboro, NC; and Cecila Roach of Greenville, NC, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Anthony shared a special bond with his longtime companion, Bonnie Staley, whose companionship meant so much to him.

Anthony was preceded in death by his son, Ryan Driver, his parents, Minnie Mae Driver and Otis Driver, his siblings, Elsie Rodgers, Curtis Driver, and Shirlean George. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
